  • The Methuselah Foundation announced that Roger Holzberg has joined as CMO.

  • Presstek, Inc. announced the appointment of Kathleen McHugh to VP and CMO.

  • Fiserv, Inc. has appointed Don MacDonald as the company's first CMO. MacDonald was previously VP and GM of the sales and marketing group and also director of global marketing at Intel.

  • EnterConnect Inc. announced the appointment of Kevin Hayden as the new CMO. Most recently he served with BEA Systems as VP of Corporate Communications.

  • Maybelline NY has appointed Deborah S. Marquardt to VP, Integrated Marketing Communications. Marquardt previously served with L'Oreal.

  • Rob Gregory has been appointed President of Network Sales and Marketing for Plum TV. Previously Gregory served with Alpha Media Group.

  • Gerald M. Makowski has been promoted to Executive Director of Marketing for Terra Holdings. Makowski has been with Terra Holdings since 1992.

  • E! Entertainment created a CMO position and Suzanne Kolb will fill it. Kolb was previously EVP of marketing and communications for E!.

  • SunTrust Banks, Inc. appointed Rilla Delorier as CMO. Delorier served as SVP and Director of Marketing for SunTrust's Wealth & Investment Management line.

April 2008

  • WorkshopLive.com named Robert A. Land to CMO, a new position. Land has more than 14 years experience in the marketing, advertising, business development and sales industries.

  • Miyowa announced the appointment of Jayne Chace as CMO.

  • ING has named Ann Glover as CMO for ING Americas operations.

  • Dennis J. Meyer has been named CMO of Ellerbe Becket. He comes to Ellerbe Becket from RR Donnelly where he served as VP of worldwide sales and marketing.

  • Azingo announced the appointment of Gabi Schindler as CMO. Schindler previously served as CMO for Saba.

  • Diatect International Corporation announced the appointment of Michael Orr as CMO. Orr previously served as CMO for Save On Energy, Inc.

  • Project Better Place named Joe Paluska as its CMO. Prior to Better Place, Paluska served as director of Hill & Knowlton.

  • Sun World International LLC has appointed David Marguleas to CMO. Marguleas joined Sun World in 1986 and has served as Sun World's SVP of licensing and corporate development since 2001.

  • Interxion has appointed Dick Theunissen to CMO. Prior to joining Interxion, he was President of Amen International.

March 2008
  • ACCO Brands has named Martha A. Curren VP and General Manager of Day-Timers, Inc. Curren was previously President of Goebel of North America, from 2005 - 2008.

  • Progressive Corporation has appointed Larry Bloomenkranz to CMO.

  • Ann Turner was promoted to CMO and VP for Eastman Kodak. Turner joined Kodak in 1978.

  • NetShops Inc. announced the appointment of Ash ElDifrawi as the company's first CMO.

  • DiabetesAmerica announced that John Reed is joining the company as CMO. Reed joins DiabetesAmerica from PolyMedica, Inc., where he served as CMO for eight years.

  • Imagekind announced that Robert Martin has joined the company as CMO. Previously, Martin was VP of marketing and production at Tully's Coffee Corporation.

  • Sancilio & Company, Inc. announced that Dan Joy has been named CMO. Joy has over 21 years of experience in business development.

  • AMD named Nigel Dessau as CMO. Dessau joins from Sun, where he was SVP of storage marketing and SVP of alliances and licensing.

  • NexCen Brands Inc. appointed Joseph DiMuro as EVP/CMO. DiMuro previously served as the EVP & General Manager at Sony BMG Entertainment.

  • Bauer Consumer Media appointed Andria Vidler as CMO. Vidler had been serving as Managing Director.

  • Associated Banc-Corp announced that Nick Papachristou has been named EVP and CMO. Previously he held the position of Senior Business Leader with MasterCard Worldwide.

  • Farmers Group, Inc., appointed Kevin Kelso to the post of EVP and CMO. Kelso was previously Farmers EVP and President of Personal Insurance.

  • Outside Hub LLC hired Stephen Fromwiller as CMO.

  • Talbots appointed Lori Wagner as EVP and CMO. Wagner recently served as CMO of Cole Haan.

  • Digital Angel appointed David M. Sullivan as its new CMO. Sullivan was formerly SVP, Sales & Marketing of HID Global.

  • Datamars announced the appointment of Kenneth M. Boyle as CMO. Boyle joined the company in April 2007 as President North America.

  • Vesdia Corporation announced the appointment of Lars Holmquist as CMO. Holmquist was previously the President of TSYS Loyalty.

  • Airspan Networks Inc. announced the appointment of Declan Byrne as CMO.

  • Travelport Limited announced that Jon Hall has been named CMO. Hall was previously a consultant director for WPP.

  • General Electric appointed Beth Comstock as SVP and CMO. Most recently Comstock served as president of integrated media at NBC Universal.

February 2008
  • DeVry University named John Birmingham as its CMO. Birmingham most recently served as VP of Marketing for the Chicago Tribune.

  • LiveVox announced that John McNamara is joining as CMO. McNamara most recently served as Co-Founder and President of Fidelis Recovery Solutions, Inc.

  • Best Buy Co. appointed Barry Judge to CMO. Judge joined Best Buy in 1999 as a member of the company's e-commerce team in November 1999, and most recently served as SVP of Marketing.

  • Presidio Networked Solutions named Todd Brinegar EVP and CMO. Brinegar most recently served as VP of Marketing and Sales for Qtask.

  • Workscape, Inc. announced the appointment of Tony Marzulli as the company's CMO. Prior to joining Workscape, he was SVP of Products and Marketing for Workbrain, Inc.

  • VisionChina Media Inc. appointed Albert Tong as its CMO. Tong recently served as the marketing director, leading media and marketing operations in China for PepsiCo International.

  • Blink Logic has recruited Mike Thoma as CMO.

  • NetJets Inc. promoted Steve Zacks to EVP of Marketing and CMO. Zacks has been with NetJets for 7 years.

  • Steve Chazin has joined Dimdim as its CMO.

  • Marian Salzman has joined Porter Novelli as CMO. She served as EVP and CMO at JWT Worldwide.

  • Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, LLC named Howard Pickett as CMO. Previously Pickett served as CMO for Kerzner International Resorts.

  • AFC Enterprises Inc. named Richard Lynch as the new CMO. Lynch has been interim CMO since October 2007.

  • NextPhase Wireless, Inc. announced the appointment of Juan "Kiko" Suarez as their new CMO. Suarez has over 15 years of experience as a senior marketing and communications executive.

  • ION Media Networks has named Eleo Hensleigh as CMO. Hensleigh joins ION from Disney-ABC, where she served as CMO & EVP, Marketing & Brand Strategy.

  • Cypress Care announced the appointment of Robert Kulbick to the position of CMO. Kulbrick has more than 15 years of experience in product and service marketing, client relations and business development.

  • Discovery Communications appointed Wonya Lucas as CMO. Prior to joining Discovery Communications, Lucas served as General Manager and EVP of The Weather Channel Networks.

  • SiteSpect, Inc. announced the appointment of Kim Ann King as CMO. King previously served as Director of Marketing Communications for Bit9.
January 2008

  • NewHope Bariatrics announced the appointment of Holley P. Malia as its CMO. Malia is a 15-year marketing veteran who was named Medical Marketer of the Year by the Medical Marketing Association in 2006.

  • Schneider Electric Canada appointed Rose Marie Gage to the position of CMO/VP, Business Development and Marketing.

  • ESPRE Solutions, Inc. appointed Gianluca Ferremi as its CMO. Previously Ferremi was Head of Video and Media solutions worldwide for Sun Microsystems.

  • Mirion Technologies hired Larry Kelmar as CMO. Prior to joining Mirion, Kelmar headed Business Operations for the Service Platform Development Group at Vodafone.

  • Stephen Epstein has joined Avistar Communications Corporation as CMO. Epstein had worked at Mantas, Inc. as VP, Head of Product Management.

  • Advantage Futures announced the appointment of Iqbal Brainch as CMO. Brainch most recently served as Associate Director of Marketing for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and has over 12 years experience in marketing and advertising.

  • Jentro Technologies appointed Peter Largen as CMO. Largen was recently Chief Operating Officer at CenterPost Communications and has over 20 years experience in software and information services.

  • Allegro announced the appointment of Michael Hinton to CMO. Hinton has been with Allegro since 1997, holding management roles in product management and implementation.

  • PSi Technologies Holdings, Inc. appointed Rodger K. Fujinaga to VP Marketing and Sales, North America and Japan.

  • H2Diesel Holdings, Inc. announced the appointment of Phillip J. Wallis as CMO. Wallis joins H2Diesel Holdings from Chevron Corporation.

  • Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. has appointed Pierre Thiercelin to Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Thiercelin joined Playlogic in 2007 as International Sales Director and has over 9 years experience in international trade.

  • Bob Stohrer, currently VP of Brand & Integrated Marketing of Virgin Mobile USA, has been promoted to CMO. Stohrer joined Virgin Mobile in 2003.

  • VHA Inc. brought Gail Rigler on board as their SVP and chief marketing and communications officer. Rigler was VP of global marketing for Electronic Data Systems Corp. for six years.

  • Qualcomm appointed Jeff Jacobs to the newly created role of CMO. Jacobs was EVP of global business development.

  • Diamond Resorts International appointed James R. Danz to the role of CMO. Danz has held the positions of VP of Marketing, and EVP, Marketing for various companies in the resort and vacation industry.

  • SoundBite Communications Inc. has appointed Mark Friedman to the role of Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer. Most recently Friedman served as CEO of Peppercoin, which was acquired in 2007.

  • INCAT announced the appointment of Indraneel Ganguli as CMO. Prior to joining INCAT, Ganguli was VP of Global Marketing and Communications at Satyam.

  • Presstek, Inc. announced the appointment of Todd Chambers to the role of CMO. Previously Chambers served as CMO at Onyx Software

  • George Sokolowski has been named VP of strategy and CMO of Kellwood Co. Most recently he was a managing partner of SkyTop Advisors.

  • Steve Cone has been appointed CMO of Epsilon. Previously he served as executive VP of strategic marketing services.

  • Frank D. Steenburgh has joined ColorCentric Corp. as CMO. Steenburgh has over 25 years experience in the field, and most recently he was SVP Business Growth for Xerox.

  • Turner Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media has named Brenda Freeman to the new position of CMO. Previously she was SVP of integrated marketing and promotions for Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Group.

  • Wendy Lurrie has been appointed to the new role of CMO by DraftFCB. Lurrie has been with DraftFCB since 2001 as executive vice-president, general manager of the New York office.

  • Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. has named David Norton as CMO. Norton has lead Harrah's relationship marketing since 2003.

  • Kodak has apppointed Kevin Joyce to CMO of their growing Graphic Communications Group (GCG). Kevin joined the GCG in 2005 where he was VP of Sales.

  • Bruce Allenbaugh has been appointed to CMO by InfoSpace, Inc. Previously he was a senior leader at Safeco Corporation.

  • Carol Meyers has joined LogMeIn, Inc. as SVP, CMO. LogMeIn offers solutions to connect people to online remote devices.

December 2007

  • Paul Bascobert has been named CMO for the Dow Jones Consumer Media Group (CMG). Previously he has worked with companies such as The New York Times, DirecTV and OnStar.

  • Unica Corp. has announced the appointment of Paul McNulty as SVP and CMO. McNulty joins Unica from Progress Software Corp., where he was VP of worldwide marketing.

  • Westport Innovations Inc. announced the appointment of Tony Picarello as VP of Sales and Marketing of the Global Heavy-Duty Business Unit. Picarello was most recently the Executive Director of Marketing for Volvo Trucks North America.

  • Derek Vaughan, former Walt Disney Company and Affinity Internet executive, has been named VP of Marketing at HostMySite.com.

  • BCD Travel has appointed Louise Miller to the position of Executive VP of Gobal Business Solutions, Sales and Marketing.

  • Streamlogics, a leading global provider of webcasting services has appointed Marc Nadeau as SVP of Sales and Marketing while Brian Ross has assumed the role of VP of Business Development.

  • GVI Security Solutions, Inc announced that Esra Pope, VP of Marketing, has been appointed to Lead Product Marketing and Branding.

  • Yahoo! announced the appointment of Kristof Fahy as VP of Marketing for Europe, who joined the company on November 26, 2007. Fahy joins from Research in Motion (RIM), where he was Brand Marketing Director for BlackBerry in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

  • Vindicia, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand payment management software, announced the appointment of Sanjay Sarathy as VP of Marketing. Sarathy joins Vindicia from Above All Software, where he served as CEO.

  • WaveLight, Inc. announced that Blake Michaels has assumed the new role of VP of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining WaveLight, Michaels was the Director of Marketing for the U.S. Cataract Division of Bausch & Lomb.

  • Penske Performance has appointed Jonathan Gibson as VP of Marketing, a newly created position. Previously,, he led the Miller Lite brand's sports marketing investments, which included a long and prosperous relationship with Penske Racing.

  • Arcadian Networks, a wireless communications carrier serving energy companies with dispersed assets(electric, gas and water utilities, and oil and gas companies), announced the appointment of Edward Solar as SVP Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

  • Ness Technologies, Inc., a global provider of information technology services and solutions, announced the appointment of Holly Ripley-Boyd as executive VP and CMO. Ripley-Boyd joins Ness Technologies from Symphony Services, a provider of product engineering outsourcing services, where she led marketing efforts.

  • Global Swift Funding, a key player in the Merchant Cash Advance industry, has announced the appointment of E. Drew Soinksi to CMO. Drew has held executive level positions with Cardtronics, NPC and First Horizon Merchant Services among others.

  • Corbett Accel Healthcare Group has selected Elisa Cooper-Broski to serve as their new Executive VP and CMO. Cooper-Broski has served in other leadership positions that include: Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare (formerly Klemtner Advertising); CommonHealth USA; and NCI Advertising (formerly Rolf Werner Rosenthal).

  • Ingres Corporation has hired Ketan Karia, SVP of Marketing in London and Tracy Eiler, SVP of Corporate Marketing, to head up worldwide marketing efforts.Karia comes to Ingres most recently from Sybase and Eiler was most recently the VP of Global Marketing at Postini, Inc.

  • Quantum Corp., the leading global specialist in backup, recovery and archive, announced that Janae Lee has joined as VP of Marketing. She served as president and CEO of TimeSpring Software and held executive positions at Avamar Technologies, Legato Systems and IBM.

  • Universal Motown Republic Group, a division of Universal Music Group, has promoted Pat Monaco to Executive VP of Sales and Field Marketing. Monaco had served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Field Operations for Universal.

  • Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists appointed Tim Doke as CMO. Doke has served as a communications executive for some of the world's largest companies including American Airlines and Dell among others.

  • Photonic Products Group, Inc. announced that John R. Ryan has joined as VP of Sales and Marketing and was appointed an officer of the Company. Most recently Ryan served as Director of Sales for Labsphere, Inc., a privately held manufacturer of electro-optical test and measurement products.

  • MGM MIRAGE Hospitality (MMH) today announced the appointment of David Van Kalsbeek to SVP of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining MMH, he was SVP of Sales and Marketing for MGM Grand Las Vegas.

  • Zend Technologies has appointed Mark de Visser as CMO. De Visser previously worked at Java developer tool company Agitar, and before that worked for Red Hat.

November 2007

  • Vibe Media Group has appointed Gary R. Lewis to CMO. Previously Lewis was Associate Publisher in marketing and promotions for Vibe.

  • LGE has appointed Dermot Boden into the newly created CMO position. Boden was the former head of Pfizer Inc.’s Northeast Asian Region.

  • ViaLogy a leading innovator of network-centric, real time signal processing platforms for sensor applications, announced the appointment of Robert Kern as VP, Sales and Marketing. Kern joins ViaLogy as VP and UK Strategic Account Manager from the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), a global systems integrator and technical services company.

  • Anthony Flynn, former CMO and VP at Bentley Systems, Inc., joins Satellier, a global leader in design support and Building Information Modeling (BIM) services to the global architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) industry company as CMO and executive VP of sales and marketing.

  • Kevin Lipson has been appointed VP of Field Sales & Marketing for Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD).

  • Seapine Software, leading provider of quality-centric application lifecycle management solutions, announced that Alan See has joined the company as VP of Marketing.

  • Select Comfort Corporation, the nation's leading bed retailer and creator of the SLEEP NUMBER bed, announced the appointment of Catherine Bur-Hall as SVP and CMO for the company.

October 2007

  • Nexstar Broadcasting Group named Blake Russell its newVP of Marketing. Russell has been with Nexstar for 10 years.

  • NComputing, the leading provider of virtual PC solutions, announced the appointment of Raj Shah as the company's first CMO. Shah is a computer industry executive with twenty years of marketing, channel and sales experience.

  • Juniper Networks, Inc., the leader in high-performance networking, announced the appointment of Penny Wilson as CMO. Wilson joins Juniper Networks after serving as SVP and CMO at Macromedia Inc.

  • South African Tourism has announced the appointment of Roshene Singh as the organisation's new CMO.

  • TiVo names new CMO, Clent Richardson and new SVP of Advertising Sales, Karen Bressner. Richardson was previously CMO of telecommunications equipment giant, Nortel. Bressner was previously SVP of national advertising sales at Viacom.

  • InsideView, an on-demand sales intelligence application, has announced that Rand Schulman has joined the company as CMO. Most recently, Schulman has served as General Manager Internet Products at Unica Corporation, a vendor of Enterprise Marketing Management products.

  • Social networking web site Reunion.com announced the appointment of Cornell McGee as CMO.

  • Bare Escentuals, Inc. announced has appointed Jim Taschetta to the newly created position of CMO.

  • Comverse Technology, Inc. has named John Bunyan as CMO.

  • SunPower Corporation, a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer of high-efficiency solar cells, solar panels and solar systems, has appointed Brad Davis as CMO.

  • Gary Ginsberg, Executive VP for Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at News Corporation will assume the new title of Executive VP of Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs.

  • Orange UK has appointed Virgin Mobile founder Tom Alexander as its new chief executive.

  • Kraft Foods Inc. appointed Mary Beth West as Executive VP and CMO. West had previously been Group Vice President, Kraft Foods and President, North America Beverages.

September 2007

  • Kelly Vizzini joins Tideway as new CMO. Vizzini was most recently CMO for DataSynapse.

  • David Adelman has been announced as CMO of Mindshare North America. Adelman was most recently media director for Johnson & Johnson's global marketing group.

  • Vovici, the leading provider of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM), announced the appointment of Jim Ivers as CMO.

  • Mark Gray, president of SAMMA Systems, has named Chris Golson as CMO.

August 2007

  • Ottawa’s DataJungle Software Inc. has appointed Robert Lendvai as the company’s new CMO. Lendvai was a member of the Board of Directors from 2001 - 2005.
  • Chrysler LLC named Deborah Wahl Meyer its CMO. Meyer was most recently the VP of Marketing for Toyota Motor Sales, Lexus Division.

July 2007

  • Invirtus, Inc., a premier provider of virtualization management software, announced the appointment of Andy McCartney as VP of Marketing. Previously, McCartney was VP of Marketing with Atlanta-based OpenSpan.

  • Global IP Solutions (GIPS), the leading provider of embedded media processing solutions, announced today (July 16th) the promotion of Wendy Toth to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) from vice-president of marketing.

  • Nick Allen has been named Chief Marketing Officer at Blue Robin, Inc. in Waltham, MA. Allen comes to Blue Robin with over 10 years experience as the Vice President of Marketing for Quality Solutions, Inc., a leader in Publishing Title Management Software & Data Delivery Solutions.

  • TiVo Inc., the creator of and a leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), announced it has appointed Clent Richardson as Chief Marketing Officer.  Prior to joining TiVo, Richardson served as Chief Marketing Officer of Nortel, where he led the company's transformative, worldwide re-branding.

  • Satmetrix, the leading global provider of on-demand software applications and consulting services to measurably improve customer loyalty, announced the appointment of Deborah Eastman as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).  Prior to joining Satmetrix, Eastman was Managing Principal of Windward Solutions, a consulting firm helping business-to-business marketing organizations define and deliver on their brand promise.

  • Intrawest ULC ("Intrawest") announced the appointment of Andy Wirth to the position of Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer.  Wirth joined Intrawest as a result of the acquisition of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation that was completed in March 2007.

  • Sears Holdings Corp. named a new chief marketing officer for its struggling Sears, Roebuck and Co. chain.  Richard Gerstein will join Sears from hair- and skin-care company Alberto Culver Beauty, where he was global chief marketing officer and senior vice president of U.S. operations. He will oversee all of Sears' brand marketing strategies and programs.

  • Robert Stamper was appointed to the newly created position of senior vice president of marketing for Lexington Home Brands. An experienced home furnishings executive with over 20 years of experience at Drexel Heritage, Stamper will report directly to President and CEO Phil Haney.

June 2007

  • Kathryn Olson has been named chief marketing officer at Shutterfly Inc. in Redwood City. Prior to joining Shutterfly, Olson was chief marketing officer at LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. in Emeryville.

  • George W. Mahaffey has been named chief commercial officer and vice president, sales and marketing at Peplin Ltd. in Emeryville. Mahaffey previously held a similar position at CoTherix Inc.

  • Kathryn Olson has been named chief marketing officer at Shutterfly Inc. in Redwood City. Prior to joining Shutterfly, Olson was chief marketing officer at LeapFrog Enterprises Inc. in Emeryville.

  • Steve Toteda has been appointed vice president of marketing for Dust Networks of Hayward, a provider of wireless sensor networking systems.

  • Virage Logic Corp. has appointed Pete Rodriguez chief marketing officer. Fremont-based Virage said the new position will strengthen its ability to work closely with foundry, integrated device manufacturer and fabless companies "on a more strategic level."

  • NaviSite, Inc., a leading provider of application solutions, web hosting and content delivery services, has appointed Rathin Sinha as Chief Marketing Officer. Sinha brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and eCommerce with a proven track record in growing high-tech, web-centric businesses.

  • TheLadders.com, the world’s leading $100,000+ jobs website, has announced that Robert Turtledove has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Turtledove will help lead the global brand expansion of TheLadders.com.

  • Innovative Food Holdings, Inc., a provider of gourmet food products to discerning chefs, has announced that Mr. Justin Wiernasz has joined its wholly-owned subsidiary, Food Innovations, Inc. ("Food Innovations") as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive VP of Marketing and Sales.

May 2007

  • Alan Fine has been appointed to the newly created position of evp/chief marketing officer of Marvel Characters Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marvel Ent., which owns and licenses Marvel's intellectual property library. Fine will be responsible for directing and coordinating Marvel's efforts to support and strengthen its brands.

  • Air2Web Inc. has hired Nokia executive Bill Jones as chief marketing officer. Atlanta-based Air2Web, which provides mobile marketing and messaging applications, said Jones will be responsible for global marketing and product management.

  • McAfee Inc. revealed that it has appointed David Milam as chief marketing officer and executive vice president. Milam would lead the company's overall marketing efforts.

  • La-Z-Boy Incorporated announced that Doug Collier has returned to the company as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Collier, 40, initially joined La-Z-Boy in 2002 as Vice President, Marketing for La-Z-Boy Residential, and was named Chief Marketing Officer in 2004. He left the company in 2005 to join Select Comfort Corporation as its Chief Marketing Officer.

  • Flowserve Corp., a global leader in fluid motion and control, has announced that Kyle B. Ahlfinger has been named vice president and chief marketing officer. Ahlfinger most recently served as vice president of marketing for the Flowserve Flow Control Division.

  • Imation Corp. has named its first chief marketing officer, Stephen Moss. Moss also has the title of vice president and is in charge of global brand asset management for the Oakdale-based consumer data storage company.

  • Chrysler Group CEO Thomas W. LaSorda announced the appointments of several key sales and marketing executives effective May 1, 2007. Steven J. Landry will be promoted to Executive Vice President - NAFTA Sales, Global Marketing, Service and Parts, and Michael Manley will be promoted to Executive Vice President - International Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Both executives will report directly to LaSorda.

  • Digitas Health promoted Michael Du Toit to executive vice president, marketing & client service, up from executive vice president.

  • One of the most dominate forces in the event marketing and planning space has just recently appointed 49 year old Anne Hunt Cheevers to the new position of Chief Marketing Officer of BizBash and President of the newly acquired Masterplanner product.

  • Star India has appointed Prem Kamath as Vice president, Marketing. His most recent stint was with Leo Burnett, where he was Associate Vice president. Kamath's appointment is a result of Satya Raghavan, quitting to join MSN India as head of consumer marketing.

  • Root Markets Inc., which operates the premier commodities exchange for trading and monetizing internet-generated consumer leads, has appointed Mark L. Korell as Chief Marketing Officer. Korell will report to CEO Marcia Myerberg and will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing and sales strategies for Root Markets.

  • World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. has named Geof Rochester as its Executive Vice President, Marketing. In his new role, Rochester will be responsible for global marketing, integrated brand initiatives, talent branding, live events, pay-per-view, advertising and promotions, research, creative services, and public and government relations. He reports to Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman.

  • Mall Networks, the leading provider of online malls and loyalty shopping solutions, announced that Ben Kaplan has joined the company’s management team as Chief Marketing Officer.

  • MidSouth Bancorp, parent company of MidSouth Bank and MidSouth Bank, Texas, has named Alexander Calicchia to the newly created position of Chief Marketing Officer. As Senior Vice President and CMO, Calicchia will lead the two-state marketing efforts of the $805 million bank holding company.

  • Wireless carrier Sprint Nextel Corp. on Thursday named Tim Kelly chief marketing officer. Kelly previously served as the president of Sprint's customer management organization.

  • Vonage named Jamie Haenggi Chief Marketing Officer. In this newly-created position, Haenggi will be responsible for spearheading a more unified marketing approach at Vonage in line with the company's announced strategy of improving its competitive position in the marketplace.
